"Riding is a partnership. The horse lends you his strength, speed and grace, which are greater than yours. For your part you give him your guidance, intelligence and understanding, which are greater than his. Together you can achieve a richness that alone neither can."

Newsletter
Each year Siete Leguas Equine sends out two newsletters to provide clients with current care articles, fun tips, and events going on at the clinic. We send our newsletter out by email, mail, and will post the latest two below. To sign up for our newsletter(s), please fill out the below section.

Bi Annual Open House
Every other year Siete Leguas Equine has an open house. At the open house we have informational talks and demonstrations. Hollyhock Farms has miles of beautiful trails that we started to open up for our clients to ride on the day of the open house. However, there is small fee to ride, with the proceeds going to the Minnesota Hooved Animal Rescue. We also have a silent auction with the proceeds going to the Minnesota Hooved Animal Rescue and Project Astride. We make a fun day of it and there is something for everyone of all ages. |
Coggins
Siete Leguas Equine has been doing online digital coggins for a couple of years now. One of the greatest benefits of doing this, is that our clients can look up their own coggins online. We do send out the first initial copy via email or mail, but having the option to log on a website to have your own personal coggins history is very rewarding for clients. See the below FAQ for more information.
How does it work?
By providing your email address to your veterinarian at the time or your coggins appointment, you will be able to access and print your coggins papers through www.myvetlink.com using the instructions given on the website. If you have difficulty accessing your coggins or if you would like us to email it to you, please call the clinic and ask for assistance.
How soon will I see my coggins results?
Our clients can look to have their results within 5-7 business days. Please be sure to make an appointment for a coggins with a good time window before needing it for an event.
How can I ensure my horse(s) information is correct?
At the time of the coggins visit, we have our clients fill out a "Digital Coggins Field Form". This helps to ensure that we have all the correct information that an owner wishes to have on the coggins. Owners only have to fill out the form once, unless their is a change in a horses information.

Kitty Underground Railroad
During our slow season in the winter, we like to try help our clients' "barn cat populations" by spaying/neutering and than re-homing the cats to either indoor or outdoor homes. We have been successful with this project since it started. In 2013 we re-homed over 50 cats and kittens! All cats/kittens are spayed or neutered, vaccinated (feline distemper and rabies), Feline Leukemia tested, ears cleaned (we treat if mites are found), and dewormed. If you are looking to adopt a cat or have a friend who is looking, don't be shy to give us a call to see what we have available.
